Scientific Games got James Bond slots by exclusive 'merchandise to spin' bargain

Due to this new agreement sealed by Scientific Games, we all can meet Bond, James Bond.

As per the new merchandising contract casino games will be developed for a variety casino businesses, including online and land-based casinos, lottery and others.

Introducing Bond

The agreement was justified by Kevin Sheehan, Scientific Games CEO: “It is no secret that the Bond license acquisition is a long pursued and exceptionally thrilling brand for our business. James Bond means action, suspense and most up-to-date technology."

"Utilizing the strength of the Bond label will push innovative drifts in the company for the coming future and we are really eager to see that happen," he added. 

According to the signed between Eon Productions and Scientific Games agreement, the casino company will gain access to all James Bond roles, regardless past or future. No matter if featuring in Sean Connery or Daniel Craig, you could be soon seeing your favorite James Bond actor on the reels a slot.

The British movie maker, Eon Productions, is the one that inspires the life in James Bond character. They are not, however, holders of the copyright and the merchandising rights of the James Bond license. With this regard, Scientific Games had to seal an agreement also with Danjaq and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, who are the co-owners of the merchandising rights. 

Ronald Perelman, Chairman of Scientific Games, expressed his satisfaction from the deal: “This license opportunity has been fascinating us for quite a while and we are excited that Kevin Sheehan’s crew at Scientific Games was able to lock the exclusive licensing rights for us.”

The first glance of the new online slots can be taken by October 2017 during the G2E Las Vegas event, something which James Bond fans are already eagerly anticipating!
